Miss out on some of those Black Friday 4K TVs? Panasonic is making its latest 4K Ultra HD TV lineup a good buy every single day.
The company just debuted the CX Series, a lineup of five “value-priced” 4K Ultra HD Smart TVs. These latest 4K TVs feature an eye-popping 3840 x 2160 resolution and direct-lit LED technology, in sizes ranging from 50 to 65 inches. If you’re looking to tap into 4K content out of the box, know that all of the CX Series 4K TVs can connect to web-based services via built-in WiFi. All CX models also have several Smart TV options included, such as Netflix, YouTube, Toon Goggles, Pandora, and AccuWeather. (Just know that subscriptions and/or fees may apply for those.)
Each TV also comes with default settings, so you can spend more time watching and less time tweaking. “Created with ease of use in mind, the default settings on the CX Series are pre-optimized, eliminating the need to spend time calibrating picture color gamut, white balance or anything else,” says the announcement.
Panasonic is even giving customers the option to pick between black (CX400) and matte silver (CX420) bezel colors. The CX400 black bezel models include the 50-inch TC-50CX400U ($799.99), the 55-inch TC-55CX400U ($999.99), and the 65-inch TC-65CX400U ($1,499.99). The CX420 matte silver bezel options are the 55-inch TC-55CX420U ($999.99) and the 65-inch TC-65CX420U ($1,499.99).
“Panasonic has a rich history and expertise in delivering category-leading HD and 4K Ultra HD TVs to consumers,” said Julie Bauer, president of the Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company. “We have brought that same technological know-how to our first line of value-priced 4K Ultra HD TVs, opening the 4K experience up to an even wider range of consumers who want Panasonic picture quality that fits their budget.”
CX Series 4K TVs are currently available on Panasonic.com, with retailers to follow later this month.
