For some time now we’ve been praising manufacturers for improving the cosmetics of their thermostats. Looking better then ever—as well as lot more high-tech—they fit right in with a modern home aesthetic.
A new thermostat from Season Group joins the club of good-looking, super-intuitive stats. The face of the STL-200 is all high-res touchscreen; no old-style button or knobs on this 3.5-inch beauty (available in black or white). It’s packed with technology, too. For starters, the wireless stat talks Wi-Fi, and can be monitored and controlled remotely via an Android device.
There are also built-in motion and humidity sensors, so you can have the stat adjust automatically when someone enters a room or when the humidity levels reach beyond a certain setpoint. A seven-day scheduler lets you program temps for each day of the week. No pricing information was available at press time.
