We all want to be able to keep a watchful eye on our residences, especially if you have a large home and yard where your kids can wander about without supervision. With that in mind, Colorado vNet has expanded its home automation system to incorporate CCTV cameras.
With the availability of the company’s CCTV Application, you can conveniently check in on what’s going on in and around your house — or your vacation home, for that matter — from the same Vibe Color Touchscreen that you use to control A/V, lighting, climate and security.
You can have the CCTV Application hooked into Panasonic and Axis network (IP) cameras, plus analog cameras through Panasonic and Axis single-camera video servers. You’ll be able to pan, tilt and zoom from your touchpanel, with those options as an overlay onscreen with the image.
Also, if the cameras support point touch centering, you can do that too by touching the video image display on the Vibe.
Colorado vNet’s CCTV Application Module links the home control system with the CCTV. It can handle up to 40 touchscreens to display camera views, with the CC1-40, as well as CC1-5, CC1-10, CC1-20 and CC1-30 for fewer touchscreens. You’ll be able to follow just about every square inch of your home.
