CentraLite Raises Curtains on StarLite Theater PAK Lighting

Lighting control and home automation product developer CentraLite Systems Inc. has introduced its StarLite Theater PAK Lighting Control Package for use with home theater systems.

The new product is designed to complement entertainment systems by adding the ability to dim and adjust room lighting through the home theater’s master remote control, the company says. Using one button control, movie buffs can lower the lights, start the movie and enjoy the simulation of a complete theater experience.

The system is easy to use and installs in minutes, says CentraLite. It consists of a StarLite RF base station, two 1-button StarLite dimmers, two 3-button dimmers, an IR converter and a power supply. StarLite dimmers replace standard light switches and are available in several colors.

The StarLite system in this package can also be expanded into whole-home usage simply by adding extra dimmers to other rooms, the company says.

Consumers can choose from white, light almond or ivory coloring, and program up to 100 lighting scenes and 50 timed events.
