Last year, Sonos debuted the Sonos SUB into its lineup. The compact subwoofer is designed to work with almost any of the company’s products.
Apparently, there was some sort of outcry for a SUB that wasn’t so shiny. Now, Sonos is making a black matte SUB available — but only for a limited time.
This version of the Sonos SUB still has that super-cool design and insanely easy setup. Just place it, plug it in, and press one button. From there, the unit will connect with whatever Sonos components you have running on your home network. Other features include two Class-D digital amplifiers, DSP (Digital Signal Processing) circuitry and dual acoustic ports. According to Sonos, the black matte is a special thing that will only be available in limited quantities — and yes, they’re actually limited. The black matte SUB is selling on the Sonos website and on Amazon for the next two weeks or until the manufacturer runs out of stock.
