Happy Friday, everyone! Before you head out for the holiday weekend, we have one last Hot Deal. After all, don’t you want to prep for your next day off?
You could be spending some of that downtime watching Blu-rays on your brand new player. We found CompUSA selling the Toshiba BDX2250 Blu-ray Player for just $44.99. The player is usually priced at $99.99, but the retailer is offering an instant savings of $35. The rest of the discount will come later, via a mail-in rebate — which means you have to remember to send it in!
The BDX2250 does not support 3D, but it handles 2D Blu-rays quite nicely. It can even upconvert your old DVD collection. If you get tired of discs, this component can connect to the web via WiFi and stream up content from Netflix, VUDU, Pandora, and more.
Just remember that to get the total discount, you’re going to have to send in the rebate form, with your receipt and a barcode from the box. And even though CompUSA says you can purchase up to two players, know that the rebate is being limited to one per person, billing address, company, or household. You’re going to want to read all of the fine print on the form before you order — but soon! This offer is only valid on purchases made between August 30 and September 1, 2012. After that, you have up until 30 days after your purchase to file for the rebate.
