Besides, it’s hard to pass up this deal we just found at Adorama. For a limited time, the online retailer has the Panasonic 47-inch TC-L47E50 1080p LED HDTV listed for just $749. This price is about $250 off the list for this HDTV, and also includes free shipping.

The TC-L47E50 is actually one of Panasonic’s 2012 models. It doesn’t do 3D, but it has a full 1080p HD picture and the company’s new LED IPS (In Plane Switching) panels. The latter promises a better picture and lower power consumption.

Other features include DLNA support, four HDMI inputs and two USB ports. This model also features access to Panasonic’s VIERA Connect platform, which can deliver a slew of web-based services right on the TV screen. There’s no WiFi, but that can be added if you’re willing to give up one of the USB ports and add in the optional WiFi adapter.
