That A/V setup could use a few curves. BDI is ready to oblige, with its new Ola 8137 home theater cabinet.
Promising to add a little “curve appeal” to any home theater setting, the Ola has a substantial top panel and base to anchor the cabinet for larger HDTVs. In fact, it can hold flat-panel HDTVs up to 73 inches, as well as a Blu-ray player, gaming console, receiver, and other home theater needs.
Designed by Louis A. Lara, the Ola has fluid, curved glass doors that wrap around the sides of the cabinet and boast added depth to the design. Other features include hidden wheels, flow-through ventilation, and cable management. It’s also compatible with BDI’s Arena Flat Panel TV Mount 9972, which allows the TV to be placed higher, with swivel features.
“The shape of Ola is distinctive, but also highly functional,” said Bill Becker, BDI’s CEO and design director. “The beautiful curved design adds an element that is rarely seen in home theater environments, yet it is also technologically compatible with today’s home theater components. And by adding a fluid shape to a piece of furniture that is typically designed with straight lines, Ola becomes the standout centerpiece of the room. More eyes may be on Ola than the TV!”
Available in satin white or chocolate-stained walnut finishes, BDI’s Ola has an MSRP of $1,499. It’s available now online and via other authorized retailers.
