If you’re the type that worries about leaving your most prized possessions home alone, a security system is an absolute must. However, it doesn’t have to be expensive, as evidenced by the latest Swann security system.
The company just introduced its new Digital Wireless Security System, which also goes by the name ADW-410. The package doesn’t just offer a plug-and-play installation, but can deliver real-time images to pretty much any web-enabled device.
The included high-def camera provides 720p HD images up to 165 feet, day or night using 20 IR LEDs. It even has a built-in microphone for audio up to 16 feet, as well as motion detection and alerts, so you’ll be notified when there’s activity. Other features include the option to view images via the SwannLink iOS and Android apps and an IP66 weather-resistant rating, which basically means that it’s okay to install this camera outdoors.
This package also comes with an 8GB microSD card and a 7-inch LCD touchscreen, which has a built-in battery. That touchscreen can be placed anywhere within your house for instant access to the camera’s live feed.
Another ADW-410 perk is that it incorporates peer-to-peer technology, which connects the system to the web using the SwannLink cloud server and an ID number. Each setup has its own QR code and ID number to confirm the owner’s username and password. From there, you can tap into your system using a 128-bit encrypted connection.
Swann is selling the ADW-410 Digital Wireless Security System now, with an MSRP of $249.99.
