The idea is that Biscotti users can remotely tap into that camera that’s tethered to the TV, to check in on kids, pets or just the property.
MyBiscotti allows users to peek in on all of their home’s Biscotti TV cams, as well as check out time-lapsed videos. The new service can also deliver status info and even allows users to configure the system remotely.
Of course, you can also use the Biscotti TV Cam to make high-def calls from any HDTV or HDMI-compatible screen via WiFi. Biscotti offers free unlimited video calls to other Biscotti devices, as well as to any computer, iPhone, iPad or Android device.
“MyBiscotti Cloud Services continues the evolution of Biscotti’s video calling solutions, significantly heightening functionality and adding more value for our users,” said Dr. Matthew B. Shoemake, Biscotti’s CEO and founder. “MyBiscotti Cloud Services ties the Biscotti TV Cam to the cloud, thereby, opening the door for innovative applications beyond calling, such as remote monitoring, video recording and more convenient system configuration and management. In the future, it will also allow us to add services like multi-party calling and video mail, helping to further the user experience.”
Biscotti says that MyBiscotti Cloud Services are available to new and existing customers via the software version 2.0 or later. From there, you can access MyBiscotti Cloud Services through the company’s website and then by clicking on MyBiscotti.
