Adding a soundbar for TV use makes sense in a lot of smaller: home theater settings. After all, just because you don’t have the space for a big speaker setup doesn’t mean you should suffer with the horrible sound that your TV makes.
James Loudspeaker wants to save you a little more space, by creating the new SLT3 Series. Each SLT3 model features a slim 3-inch profile. Those in need of a soundbar for TV use will certainly find something in this series; there are four different options: to choose from.
The SLT3CS soundbar pair is actually two soundbars, which can be installed vertically on either side of the TV. Each cabinet measures a mere 3.15 inches wide and 4.75 inches seep, but the height can be customized to accommodate your TV. Whatever length you go with, the inside will include four proprietary 3.5-inch aluminum woofers.
Other features include a pair of 2-inch aluminum midrange drivers, a 0.75-inch aluminum tweeter, and a frequency response of 70Hz to 22kHz. And since the SLT3CS can deliver left/center/right channels, it can be paired with more speakers—whether you opt to add those on: now or later.
“The SLT3CS was developed in direct response to feedback from our integrators,” said Mark Schafle, president of James Loudspeaker. “Our installer-friendly custom brackets and size-to-match aluminum loudspeakers provide a seamless interface into any room along with stellar audio performance. The SLT3CS is the type of engineered loudspeaker solution that has become the hallmark of the James brand.”
James Loudspeaker is selling the SLT3CS Centergy soundbar pair now, with an MSRP of $4,000. If you need a different soundbar for TV use in your house, the series also features the SLT3LCR with left-center-right drivers for $2,800 each, the SLT3LR with stereo drives for $2,500 each, and the SLT3C for center-channel use for $2,200 each.
