A soundbar isn’t just an easy sound solution, but one that can blend nicely: into your existing TV: setup. That’s because when it’s: mounted, that soundbar can disappear into the installation. It almost seems like it’s part of the TV.
However, the typical straight-cabinet soundbar design doesn’t really mesh so well with today’s curved TVs. That’s probably why James Loudspeaker has just announced a new lineup of built-to-match curved soundbars.
The curved geometry option is available on the SPL-3, SPL-5 and SPL-6 soundbar lines. Each of these lines has a variety of options, perfect for all sorts of applications. The SPL-3 (top) and SPL-5 (bottom) lines have a total of four products each, with the SPL-6 series adding in one extra speaker. Perfect for curved displays and screens, each of these new soundbar options are custom-built per the specific geometry of the TV or screen.
Curved TVs boast a more immersive viewing experience, sort of like you’re being wrapped up in the image. Having a curved soundbar should match that viewing experience—as well as match the look of your screen.
“Although the curved flat-panel display market is limited in size, our integrators require a premium soundbar for these customers capable of L/C/R, L/R or center-channel output with the precision manufacturing and cosmetic integration that they have come to expect from James Loudspeaker,” explained CEO Mark Schafle. “Our curved soundbars are innovative products that enable integrators to differentiate themselves from competitors by offering a superior solution.”
James Loudspeaker curved soundbars are available now, but only via special order. According to the company, you can expect a $400 premium for that curved geometry. Contact your local authorized James Loudspeaker specialist for exact pricing and order information.
