Apple TV Module

Autonomic’s Apple TV module for Crestron and AMX allows users to remotely control and browse their Apple TV device without being in front of their display. The module connects to multiple Apple TV media servers and AirTunes devices via Ethernet, enabling two-way multi-zone control and media browsing from any touch panel in the home. With this new module, using Apple TV or Airport Express, users can create a multi-room audio network with synchronized audio in multiple zones of the house.

Browsing capabilities support playlists, music, HD movies and TV shows, music videos, audiobooks and podcasts. While no computer is required, Apple TV devices can be configured to automatically synchronize or stream content from multiple iTunes libraries on the same network. The control module can also natively control iTunes on a Mac or PC without requiring any additional software.

Customers can use the device to shop Apple’s enormous collection of HD movies and TV shows, music, podcasts, and audio-books.  Using a Crestron or AMX touchpanel, users can then browse their entire music, movie, and TV collection, start playback, and stream content to AirTunes devices throughout the house.
