Linear LLC is making it easy to get smart lighting control anywhere in the house. The company just announced the WT00Z, a new three-way Z-Wave smart switch.
The WT00Z is very easy to operate, allowing remote control of power and dimming functions to as many as five other Z-Wave-enabled lights. It’s also easy to install, since it doesn’t directly control a load. Instead, it can be installed anywhere that power is available.
Linear says that the WT00Z can be paired with the 2GIG Go!Control system or another brand of home automation controller for control of one, two or up to five other lights.
“This new 3-way Z-Wave switch is extremely important to our portfolio of connected devices. It solves a vexing problem for installers, while bolstering the capabilities and value of the Go!Control automation panels they install. Controlling a light from two locations is a convenience most people have come to expect, but anyone who’s done electrical wiring knows it’s not always that simple,” said Duane Paulson, senior vice president of product and market development for Linear. “This new Z-Wave smart switch makes it easy. This is another example of our commitment to bring smarter products to market that add convenience, while enhancing the value of our 2GIG home control platform, which continues to accelerate in popularity.”
The WT00Z 3-way Z-Wave smart switch is available now. The MSRP on it is $69.99, although Amazon currently has it listed for $32.97.
