If your kids are whining for all kinds of ”Wall-E” toy tie-ins, just cut to the chase and get the little guy. Engadget says that the Ultimate Wall-E Remote Control Robot can sing, dance, play music from your MP3 player, bat those big blue eyes, and avoid obstacles. He also has a programmable infrared remote, which allows you to create and coordinate more than 1,000 action sequences. Kind of funny: Many took the movie “Wall-E” as an environmental message. After all, “Wall-E” stands for Waste…

If you’re the kind of person who likes to try to avoid car crashes when possible, you might consider the Muso. This little device hooks into your iPod so you can command it with your voice—and not have to worry about scrolling and looking down at the screen to select songs or artists while you’re on the road, for instance. The pocket-sized accessory connects to iPods and iPhones and syncs up to your iTunes library upon first use, so you can start telling it what…

There are plenty of people that just can’t manage to set up a home network. Leave them with their reasons—and one of Kensington’s ShareCentral products. Each product in this line will allow users to share peripherals aplenty, just by plugging them into a compact USB hub. Depending on the model, the unit can share up to five devices between two computers. Not too shabby. “Everyone is mobile. Then they bring the day’s data, photos and music back to one shared, usually cramped, home computing center…

In case you were thinking about preserving this year’s MLB All-Star festivities, taking place at Yankee Stadium in its last year, don’t fret over it being without the expressed written consent of Major League Baseball. MLB is whole-heartedly giving you the 2008 All-Star Game, plus the Home Run Derby, with its blessing this year. Some of us don’t have a photographic memory. Maybe Polaroid had us in mind when they developed the PoGo Instant Mobile Printer. This compact printer doesn’t need no stinking computer connections. It allows you to hook up a cell phone or camera on the fly, and print borderless 2 x 3 photos for all to enjoy. However, it’s not just the PoGo’s compact size that makes us smile for this camera add-on. Geek.com says that the unit uses ZINK, which is Zero Ink paper—meaning no…

If you don’t want to get locked into a 2-year contract with that new iPhone, it’s going to cost you—about the same as another two iPhones. Apple recently announced a better, cheaper iPhone, coming on July 11 for $199 (8GB) to $299 (16GB). However, users will need to lock into two years to get that deal. Reuters says that the same unit will cost chatters an extra $400 if they don’t want to sign up for the long-term committement. Sheesh. I’ve signed up for two…

Want some really energy-efficient electronics? If all goes well, you can someday power your gadgets by dancing, running—or even by the movement of breasts. Earlier this week, we reported that UK mobile phone operator Orange has teamed up with GotWind, a company specializing in renewable energy, to produce a charger powered by dance energy. The portable kinetic energy charger weighs the same as a phone and is about the size of a pack of cards. It’s attached to the user’s arm and employs a system…

Instead of worrying about where-oh-where your little dog has gone, Garmin’s new Astro GPS Dog Tracking System can keep tabs on your four-legged friends when they are out and about. The DC 30 is actually “new and improved,” meaning that the system is “more rugged” with antennas positioned for optimal tracking. “Whether it’s hounds crashing through thick and swampy woods, or bird dogs bounding through dense CRP fields, the DC 30 is made to take the beating that working dogs dish out daily,” said Dan…
