It’s important to note that OPPO currently has four Blu-ray players that can upconvert to 4K. The BDP-103 and BDP-105 can pump up Blu-ray and DVD to 4K at a 24Hz frame rate. However, the BDP-103D and BDP-105D (pictured) can do 4K at 50Hz or 60Hz using the YCbCr 4:2:0 color space. The latter is a feature of the HDMI 2.0 specification, which the company implemented by using HDMI 1.4 hardware. Other features include Darbee Visual Presence video enhancement technology, a SABRE32 Reference Audio DAC and a dedicated two-channel analog input, built-in headphone amplifiers, support for 3D Blu-ray Discs, Roku Ready certification and access to Netflix, VUDU, CinemaNow, Pandora, and Rhapsody. $1,299
