Magnavox NB500 Blu-ray Disc Player
Remember when you thought you couldn’t afford a Blu-ray player? This year, they are so cheap, you can use them as stocking stuffers. At least this Magnavox is cheap at Walmart. Last year, the retailer offered a very similar model for more than twice the price. Granted, Magnavox isn’t our top choice, but it would be a nice addition to any bedroom or even the backyard. Just be advised that although we like the price, this model is only Profile 1.1 (BonusView), with no Ethernet connection. The ads we’ve seen say the $78 is a doorbuster price, but Walmart.com is touting the same price—just no inventory.
