Benq Joybee GP1 Mini

It’s not quite a true “pocket” projector, but it only weighs a couple of pounds and after setting it up you can get quality images up to around 80 diagonal inches. The LED illumination means you don’t have to worry about any lamp replacement because it’ll last thousands of hours, and also fires up in an instant.

Its 858x600 SVGA resolution can down-res 720p and 1080i signals, and it accepts component video signals from a D-Sub 15-pin connector. If you’ve got lots of hard-drive stored videos, you can also pop ‘em onto a USB thumb drive and pop that into the projector.

Price: $499
