Sonos puts millions of songs in the palm of your hand—and its CR200 controller makes sorting through them easy and fun. A 3.5-inch touchscreen with keyboard lets you scroll alphabetically through listings.

Three hard buttons are for mute, volume up/down and zone, which you can tap to have music delivered to particular rooms. Then go to the music menu and pick a networked source to stream. This’ll be an upgrade if you’ve already got a Sonos multiroom audio system (which would be another good gift if you don’t).
