The big draw of Brutal Legend is the story. This is a loving tribute to metal music, voiced wonderfully by Jack Black and featuring the talents of metal musicians Ozzy Osborne, Lemmy Kilmister, Rob Halford and Lita Ford.
The world you roam around in is like a metal album cover, full of skulls and giant bones and chrome. It’s bizarre and wonderful for a metalhead. The actual gameplay is built around driving, third-person hack and slash combat, and some strategy.
Get this one for the story, though, the gameplay isn’t that special.
