Panasonic’s DVD players have long enjoyed a reputation of high value and superior performance – and it seems as though the company’s Blu-ray Disc players are continuing that tradition. The DMP-BD35 is Panasonic’s latest entry-level machine, but it’s anything but entry-level when it comes to features. The DMP-BD35 is Profile 2.0-compliant out of the box, which means it’s fully compatible with BD-Live content as soon as you insert an optional SD memory card. The player features the new PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus for vivid, accurate color reproduction and you also get onboard decoding (or bitstream output) for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
