The card features an input for headphones and an input for a microphone, and it also has wireless transmitting capabilities, which is where the Wireless Receiver comes in. By connecting the receiver to a pair of powered speakers, you can stream your restored music to the speakers wirelessly, up to a distance of 100 feet.
