Emerson Hot Wheels Electronics
Little kids love Hot Wheels. Instead of another set of tracks, save yourself some floor space and ease them into the world of electronics. Emerson has four Hot Wheels-themed devices: a boombox, a clock radio, two-way radios, and a personal CD player. Nothing too high-tech, but it should get them pretty revved up about electronics. One of our favorites is the boombox, which features 3-inch flame speakers and a CD-R/RW player with LED track display, programmable memory and an AM/FM radio. Another, the clock radio, has a hotrod shape, wheel volume controls, and a reflector night light. All four items are available at Toys R Us.
