What I’d really like are energy-efficient LED (light-emitting diode) lights throughout my home, all on dimmers. But LED home lighting isn’t quite ready for the masses. For now, I’ll gladly settle for what are the coolest-looking dimmers I’ve seen, with just a strip of LED lights I can touch and drag to raise and dim incandescent, fluorescent, or low-voltage lights, including LEDs. Lutron’s Vierti dimmers also come in one and multigang configurations, switches for ceiling fans, and your choice of little green, blue, or white lights. Sweet.
