Dear Santa: I know I haven’t written you in a few decades, but it’s time to reconnect. I really want these SunSlates solar panels that are disguised as regular roofing shingles. They collect energy from the sun and convert it into electricity, which I can use to power my house and save energy. Except that a solar roof would cost me $13,000 per 100 square feet, which I believe Dasher would say “adds up wicked fast.” I swear I’ve been good, Santa, and these panels will make me even more environmentally conscious—while helping to save your North Pole from melting. Unless I hit the lottery, you’re my only hope! PS: Please park your sleigh on the other side of the house, as it might damage the panels.
Price: $13,000 per 100 square feet
