Hitachi incorporates Reel60 technology into the P60X901 plasma TV to eliminate the jerky motion, or judder, that occurs when a 60-frame-per-second TV plays back movies and TV shows that were shot at 24 frames per second. Reel60 detects the 24-fps content from any common source such as HDTV, SDTV, DVD, VHS, cable, or satellite and automatically upconverts to Full HDTV 1080p.
