Before Remodel

This old basement rec room required some wall removal and wall construction to be reborn as a theater and entertainment space. The beam in the middle of this picture was used as a stopping point for what became the theater screen wall—the wall to the left was extended to the beam, and the space beyond, where the ducts are hanging from the ceiling, became the main theater seating space and equipment access closet. The exposed wall was taken down to leave a flowing side area that covers the rest of the basement’s entertaining.
