The kitchen boasts Energy Star–rated appliances from KitchenAid and Whirlpool, including a low-water-use dishwasher. In the bath (opposite), there’s a Toto EcoPower automatic faucet that recharges itself when water runs through it, a dual-flush Toto toilet and a recycled glass partition with grass sandwiched between the plates.
