100-Year-Old House

Tiered seating isn’t easy to implement in a 100-year-old home. The owners of this theater had to excavate their basement in order to raise the ceiling to a
more comfortable height.

An equipment rack houses components including a Kaleidescape media server, which feeds movies to the SIM2 projector and the 115-inch Screen Research screen. Each of the six Snell speakers and a Snell subwoofer was mounted behind acoustic paneling on the walls.
