Panasonic Plasmas

Panasonic’s VT20 series 3D displays have been exclusive to Magnolia/Best Buy since March, but the company is rolling out its VT25 series mass-market equivalent plasmas in May and June. Models range from 50- to 65-inch sizes, with MSRPs from $2,599 to $4,299.

Features of the new 3D plasma displays include: full HD 3D technology with faster screen phosphors and 600Hz sub-field drive; included pair of active shutter eyewear (regular MSRP $150); Infinite Black Pro Panel to produce deep blacks and 5,000,000:1 native contrast; THX certification; and Viera Cast WiFi with Skype video calls and Web services such as Netflix and Amazon streaming.
