HomeSeer HSTouchPad

Who knew HomeSeer would be driving home control to the iPad hoop? The company was ready at launch with this version of its HSTouch software. This fully customizable interface typically runs on a variety of touchscreens, putting HomeSeer home automation control into in-wall or stand-alone tablets. So, yes, it works with the iPad. Aside from in-home use, it can monitor what’s going on at a secondary residence. It even allows for customized backgrounds, buttons and graphics. In addition to cameras, security, lighting and temperature controls, the system also belts out weather, news and stock updates via an RSS feed.

Current App Cost: Free
