ZAGGbox

You might be thinking, do we really need another black box in our entertainment systems? Based on the functionality from ZAGG (Zealous About Great Gadgets), we just might.

The ZAGGbox, which is Apple friendly and can be controlled via iPhone or iPod touch, combines a 1-terabyte hard drive, DVR capability (including recording of Blu-ray, the company says, in 1080i), wired or wireless streaming, friendly user on-screen interface and navigation and remote playback via Internet.

The ZAGGbox can act as your digital media center and is loaded with an HDMI output and lots of inputs: three component, two composite video/S-Video, five USB 2.0, and 8-in-1 Multi ready (SD, Xd, MMC) SD card reader.

The ZAGGbox is expected to ship in Q2 2010. It is currently available for pre-order for $799.
