Setting the Stage

The 10-by-10-foot stage was constructed by the builder on the project to hold at least of 1,000 pounds. In addition to supporting the heavy display, the stage, which was raised 20 inches, protected some cabinetry that had already been built for the entertainment system. “The last thing we wanted to do is drop an $80,000 TV on top of finished cabinets,” says Calderone.
