Viewsonic PJ258D

The Viewsonic PJ258D ViewDock is a different animal than the other DLP projectors in this round up. While it is capable of supporting 720p and 1080i HD sources, what makes this projector one of a kind is its integrated IPod dock. Perfect for the video iPod, the PJ258D will project photos and video directly from the IPod. Additional devices can be connected as well, such as a PC, DVD Player and game consoles. The super lightweight projector—weighing slightly less than four pounds—and the high brightness rating (2,000 lumens) makes this baby completely portable for impromptu slideshows and viewing downloaded movies and TV shows just about anywhere there is electricity and somewhere to project an image. The manufacturer’s suggested list price is $1,399 but you can easily find it for $999.
