I admit that 3DTVs are very cool. JVC, Sony, Mitsubishi, Panasonic and DPI had some impressive demos at CEDIA Expo 2009.

It’s great for home cinema, but I don’t believe 3D will ever become pervasive in U.S. homes, not like Blu-ray will. If I ever have to put on 3D glasses to watch re-runs of “The Simpsons,” someone please kill me.
