BenQ W10000

The BenQ W10000 DLP projector is only one of a few models that fully supports 1080p/24fps (frames per second). Why is this important? A film’s native rate is 24fps, whereas video plays at a rate of 30 or 60fps. To compensate for the difference in frame rates it’s necessary to use a conversion process known as 3:2 pulldown to play standard DVDs. The downside is it can cause motion artifacts. Projectors such as the W10000 bypass this process completely for the most realistic film-like experience.

The W10000 uses the latest DLP DarkChip3 to boost image contrast, restoring detail in dark-lit scenes plus the lens aperture can be varied to compensate for bright and dark scenes.

The W10000 is compatible with Panamorph lenses, which handle playback in the original widescreen format (2.35:1 aspect) for maximum resolution without distortion or letterboxing.
