The Projectiondesign Action! model three 1080 uses the company’s patented DuArch illumination architecture to 1080p resolution from HD sources.
With two lamps, dual color wheels and light formatters, it squeezes out the maximum performance and brightness from a single DLP chip design. Use of the Texas Instruments BrilliantColor technology increases color saturation and reproduction for natural looking images.
The Action! model three 1080 comes with a stand-alone video processor, the Crystalio II VPS-3300 video processor with Gennum’s Visual Excellence Processing (VXP) and Faroudja’s DCDi.
The unit offers a choice of six projection lenses from an ultra wide angle to a long tele zoom. Most lenses feature horizontal and vertical lens shift for distortion free installation. The power output for each lamp is individually adjusted for brightness control from 500 lumens, to as high as 2,500 lumens.
