The idea of tilling the land and milking cows at the crack of dawn seems downright manly. However, Todd Whitworth didn’t want to deal to cow pies and a petting zoo. Instead, this 16,000-square-foot barn houses a 65-inch Sharp 1080p LCD, three Crown amplifiers, a DBX audio processor, a Cary preamplifier, Escient’s CD management system and a Samsung Blu-ray player. There’s also six JBL Pro concert speakers, a pair of 18-inch JBL subwoofers, and two massive Velodyne Digital Drive 1812 Signature Edition subwoofers—which are the size of two small ponies.
“As a stress reliever, I go to my car barn, crank the music as loud as I can and wax my cars,” he says. “It’s my escape.” If more than 6,000 watts aren’t enough to help him relax, he can always hit the road with one of those cars, which includes a 1969 Camaro Z28 and a 2008 Aston Martin DB9 convertible.
