"Double Up" by Dave Weckl from the album "Perpetual Motion"

Weckl includes Latin funk into traditional jazz drummer as well as anyone. On this cut he has some very intricate work by kicking the ensemble’s accents hard.

His drums have great articulation to show off his complex, technical style, and his drums don’t have lots of body or depth. Dave’s work with Chick Corea is probably his best.
