The RX-V1065 features a new on-screen GUI, four HDMI inputs and 1080p upscaling. It supports Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD High Resolution.
There are four preset buttons (“BD/DVD,” “TV,” “CD” and “Radio”) that turn on the correct components depending on what the user wants to do.
Yamaha has also included support for HD Radio, XM and Sirius Satellite Radio, iPods and Bluetooth devices. The RX-V1065 has Yamaha’s proprietary Pure Direct technology that can be used for both analog and digital sources with two-channel or multi-channel inputs.
Other features: Deep Color Technology; Auto Lip-Sync correction; Proprietary DSP 3D audio processing; Compressed Music Enhancer to restore music files that have been ripped or downloaded from the Internet; Front panel USB port fort playback of audio files.
