VTL’s Siegfried Reference Monoblock Amplifier is a statement design with enough statement power capabilities to make Jim Marshall blush (founder of Marshall amplification whose users include Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page and Eddie Van Halen). This flagship amp could be the tube world’s only smart amp. With the ability to produce up to 800 watts in tetrode mode into a 4-ohm load, the Siegfried incorporates RS-232 for integration into Crestron and AMX systems, logic-controlled automatic tube biasing, re-biasing, fault sensing with users alerts and automatic shutdown in the event of a tube failure, a soft-start sequence and automate tetrode/triode and phase switchover. The amp produces its power through a single 12AT7 input tube, two 6350 driver tubes and 12 6550C output tubes.
