NAD T975 Amplifier

Its design may be conservative, but don’t be deceived by its looks. NAD’s T975 seven-channel amplifier is a value-minded enthusiast’s best friend. NAD is a long-time proponent of truth in numbers and it rates the amp to produce 140 watts of continuous power and its peak power 230 watts into an 8-ohm load.

NAD says it can deliver peak power as high as 450 watts into 2 ohms, which is an area in that a lot of amps simply can’t operate and will shut down their operation. For those attempting to install the amp themselves, the T975 weighs about 70 pounds and its dimensions are 17 1/8 inches wide by 7 5/8 inches high and 18 3/4 inches deep.

MSRP is approximately $2,500, www.nadelectronics.com
