Integra DTA–9.4 Amplifier

One of the most popular manufacturers in custom home electronics is Integra. Unlike many home theater amplifiers on the market Integra’s reasonably priced DTA-9.4 uses a proprietary pulse-width modulation (PWM) technology to develop power. PWM is used for digital amplifiers and in the case of the DTA-9.4 it uses Integra’s digital amp technology, which is called Vector Linear PWM.

Integra says the amp is able to generate 120 watts of power into 8 ohms and 240 watts of power into a 4-ohm load. It includes a choice of RCA and XLR inputs, 12-volt triggers and a detachable “audiophile-grade” power cable.

MSRP is $3,000, www.integrahometheater.com
