Rolling Stones 'Shine a Light'

Rolling Stones (directed by Martin Scorsese) ‘Shine a Light’
Paramount, 122 minutes, 1.85:1
DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, Dolby TrueHD 5.1

Well, we had to include Scorsese direction twice on our list, because the Stones’ film here is too good to pass up. And Scorsese does wonders with new technology of this millennium, despite his success with 1970s-era ‘The Last Waltz’ and The Band. Here we get one of the most enduring, animated live acts of all time up close and personal with phenomenal video and audio so you feel like you’re almost on stage with Mick, Keith and the boys. Hits are a plenty, and guests like Jack White and Christina Aguilera show the Stones can hang with today’s popular performers as well.
