The Police 'Certifiable'

The Police ‘Certifiable’
A&M, 159 minutes, 1.78:1
Dolby TrueHD 5.1, Dolby TrueHD 2.0

Is it too bad we don’t have the pre-breakup ‘Synchronicity’ tour when The Police were in their prime and on top of the music world? Yeah, but until that gets transferred, we get a nice full blast of their recent reunion tour and a South America gig, which included the tour’s standard setlist. This disc has been hailed as among the best, if not the best, concert Blu-ray released last year. Video and audio are killer all the way around, and all the big hits are there, with showstoppers like So Lonely, Can’t Stand Losing You and King of Pain reminding us what a landmark band this was.
