Genelec developed the compact 6010A to fulfill the need for a step-up desktop speaker. With a height of less than 8 inches on its stands and a footprint of 4.75 inches by 4.5 inches, the 6010A won’t take up much space. And the choice of black or white finishes won’t make it look out of place next to a computer either.

Genelec used its MDE and DCW cabinet technologies to minimize diffraction and to aid in the speaker’s ability to evenly disperse sound. The aluminum enclosure houses dual 12-watt amplifiers that drive the two-way monitor. Genelec says the speaker is capable of delivering SPLs over 100dB.
