9. Phils, Rays in the Slop

The Philadelphia Phillies versus the Tampa Bay Rays—it might not have been as appealing a prospect for the World Series as Red Sox-Dodgers, but the games themselves were pretty exciting. Not much can top the teams playing through rain, slippery grass and mud as Bud Selig tried to figure out how not to end a Series in a rain-shortened game. Fox did a great job capturing the wetness of it all, as we all felt soaked just watching. When B.J. Upton rounded the bases with the tying run in the top of the sixth, the fact that he didn’t trip and fall was a feat in itself.
