Finding Nemo

There’s a litany of Disney films that could benefit from the Blu-ray treatment, but this 2003 Oscar winner should be at the top of the list. The colors pop off the screen at every chance and the ambiance of an underwater adventure could only be helped by a next generation soundtrack. Remember back to when this film came out how amazed people were with the particulate that was animated into the movie? Think of the detail that was likely lost from the original film to DVD that would be brought back to life in HD.

Scene Stealer – The turtle surfing scene certainly could be a sonic treat, but I prefer the first several minutes when the action centers on the anemone that is Nemo’s home. This is when you get the chance to really put people underwater with the use of the surrounds, and the amount of colors in the coral reef would be a treat in HD.
