Meridian F80

The luxury sports car of tabletop radios has arrived. Meridian’s collaboration with Ferrari has resulted in this $3K model that serves up 80 watts of 2.1-channel stereo. The audio is driven by the same digital signal processing (DSP) technology used in Meridian’s loudspeakers, as well as neodymium magnets, high-temperature voice coils, and cones made of magnesium and aluminum alloy. You can blast your CDs, AM/FM stations and connected iPod without cabinet resonation or distortion. Ferrari helped design the sleek, semicircular cabinet, which is available in the company’s signature colors: red, yellow, silver, black and off-white. The unit also handles video through its DVD and DVD+/-R/RW playback.

Price: $2,995
