With its new Lockitron Deadbolt, demonstrated in the Eureka Park section of CES, Apigy has created “the first device that lets you lock your door from anywhere in the world using any phone ....” Well, not exactly, but this unattractive $199 lock does include both Bluetooth and WiFi and can replace virtually any existing deadbolt.

The Bluetooth 4.0 is used for keyless entry if you have an iPhone 4S or 5. Users can grant virtual keys to their Bluetooth phone-wielding guests.
WiFi is available for remote monitoring and access via the Internet; Virtual keys can be granted for WiFi use so guests can lock and unlock doors via the Internet.

The company explains that, for older phones, users can text the door to unlock/lock with a monthly fee.
